Norfolk Mardler Goats Cheese made in Fielding Cottage, Honingham

The delicious Norfolk Mardler is a pasteurised, hard, goat’s milk cheese which is made by Sam Steggles of Fielding Cottage in Honingham.

Fielding Cottage are the only goat’s cheese producers in the County and they have a flock of some 800 goats … Their goats get to roam freely around the gorgeous grounds found at the Farm …. living their best lives!

A waxed, eight week matured goats cheese which is deliciously creamy – this cheese melts fantastically and is a favourite of ours.

A little bit of trivia for you …. The word Mardle comes from our local dialect meaning to gossip or chat.  We definitely love a chat and our proud to be Norfolk Mardlers!
